Deputy Paul Martin Honored At Funeral

(Beulah, ND) — Wednesday was a somber day in Beulah, as family members, friends, and colleagues gathered at the funeral of Deputy Paul Martin. He died earlier this month during a police chase involving Ian Cramer, the son of North Dakota Senator Kevin Cramer. The funeral was held a Beulah High School, and was followed by a 2-mile procession through town. Attorney General Drew Wrigley said Deputy Martin would be remembered not only as a hero, but for spreading, love, courage, and hope through his service. He was an 18-year veteran of law enforcement, and he leaves behind a wife, three children, and four grandchildren.
