Detroit Man Accused Of Fentanyl Smuggling

(Bismarck, ND) — Bismarck police have arrested a Detroit man who they say helped smuggle fentanyl into North Dakota. Bismarck authorities say the investigation began when Detroit police warned them about a suspicious package headed their way. When the package arrived, authorities reportedly found a stuffed “Elmo” doll filled with more than a-thousand fentanyl pills inside. Fingerprints on the box allegedly matched those of Javontai Cain, who was arrested in Bismarck. Police say they found him in possession of 800 additional fentanyl pills when they took him into custody.
