Detroit Man Pleads Not Guilty To Bismarck Drug Charges

(Bismarck, ND) — A Detroit man is pleading not guilty to allegations he brought illegal drugs into Bismark. Bismarck police say they got a tip from an informant that Deshawn Houston was traveling via bus into Bismarck. Officers saw a person matching Houston’s description enter a rideshare vehicle at a bus station. After officers stopped the car for speeding, Houston was allegedly found with 16 grams of fentanyl and 60 grams of heroin. He’s been charged with possession with intent to manufacture or distribute both fentanyl and heroin.
