(Dickinson, ND) — A Dickinson man faces criminal charges after he allegedly assaulted a police officer Wednesday evening. Police say it happened while the officer was serving a felony arrest warrant for 64-year-old Daniel Kostelecky. Kostelecky reportedly struck the officer in the face multiple times when he was being taken into custody. The officer suffered minor injuries, and Kostelecky was booked into jail on charges of simple assault on a police officer and preventing arrest.
