(Dickinson, ND) — Dickinson police have arrested a man who’s accused of poisoning two dogs earlier this month. Police were called to a veterinary clinic on May 8th and learned that two dogs suffered seizures after they ate meat laced with rat poison, and one of the dogs later died. The investigation led police to the home of James Sawvel, where they reportedly found evidence supporting the allegations. Sawvel is charged with two counts of animal cruelty.
