(Killdeer, ND) — Enerplus Resources has reported a diesel spill caused by a drilling rig accident near Killdeer in Dunn County. It happened on March 29th, and an estimated 187 barrels of diesel were released below the rig and on the well pad. The North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality says cleanup efforts are currently underway, and department personnel will also oversee the ongoing investigation.
