(Bismarck, ND) — The second annual Downtown Burger Slam is underway in Bismarck. The competition runs all this month and features nine local restaurants competing for the title of Bismarck’s best burger. Last year’s winner was JL Beers on Third Street, who won the title for their Mexican Street Corn Burger. This year they’re back in competition with a new burger called the “Peanut Butter Haystack,” which features a quarter-pound beef patty topped with peanut butter, marshmallows, bacon, butterscotch and chow mein noodles.
