(Bismarck, ND) — As May comes to a close North Dakota is saying goodbye to the drought conditions that have plagued the state for months. The U.S. Drought Monitor indicates just two-point-six-percent of the state is experiencing moderate drought conditions and that’s in parts of three counties in far southwestern North Dakota. Just over 22-percent of the state is abnormally dry.
