(Minot, ND) — A dump truck driver is in the hospital following a crash in Ward County. It happened on Highway 2 outside of Minot, when a dump truck hauling a load of asphalt blew a tire, veered across the median into the opposite lanes, and flipped over in a ditch. The driver was taken to a hospital to be treated for serious injuries, and crews cleaned the spilled asphalt off the highway. Officials say the driver wasn’t wearing a seatbelt.
