Excessive Force Investigation Leads To Bismarck Officer’s Firing

(Bismarck, ND) — A Bismarck Police officer is fired after a “use of force” investigation. Officer George Huff’s termination on May 21st was a result of the investigation into an incident back on March 9th. That night back in March, Huff was one of several officers who responded to a call about a pedestrian in the street near 24th and East Main Avenue. While detaining the 63-year-old pedestrian, it was determined that Huff used excessive force to get the man in custody.
