Fargo Democrat Proposes Bills To Protect IVF, Birth Control

(Fargo, ND) — A State Representative says she’ll give Republican lawmakers the chance to vote on two bills that protect IVF and birth control in North Dakota. Fargo Democrat Karla Rose Hanson said Monday that one bill protects in vitro fertilization and other fertility treatments, while the other safeguards access to contraception. Hanson says the upcoming legislative session gives far-right politicians the chance to prove they won’t come after IVF or contraception by supporting what she called two “common-sense bills.”
