Fargo Leaders Aim For Task For To Address Homelessness

(Fargo, ND) — Fargo city leaders are hoping to establish a task force to address the city’s growing problem with homelessness. According to recent data, one-thousand people are experiencing homelessness in the metro area on any given night. At a recent city commission meeting, Mayor Tim Mahoney said Fargo is seeing more homelessness than ever before, and that the creation of a task force will help find metro-wide solutions and secure funding to tackle the issue. At the end of the month, City Administrator Michael Redlinger plans on bringing a proposal for creating the task force to a commission meeting for approval.
