(Fargo, ND) — A Fargo man is accused of embezzling more than two-point-seven million dollars from his employer. Daniel Lindgren had been the chief operating officer of Shorestone Development until he was fired late last month. Court documents say Fargo police were called to the company October 26th to respond to a fraud report. The company’s owner says Lindgren had been stealing money from the company for three years. He faces up to 20 years in prison and a 20-thousand-dollar fine if convicted.
