Fargo Woman Accused of Stealing Over $500K From Former Employer

(Fargo, ND) — A Fargo woman is facing charges after she allegedly stole over 500-thousand dollars in collectible banknotes, currency and coins from her former employer. Court documents say Leymah Lopai was arrested Friday and is charged with theft over 50-thousand dollars. Lopai is accused of stealing the collectables from Bloc Galleries, where she worked until the owner fired her last May. When officers conducted a search warrant of her home, they found over 14-hundred graded banknotes, along with U.S. and foreign currency, and a stash of collectible coins.
