(Bismarck, ND) — The Bismarck Fire Department responded to a late Tuesday afternoon fire at the Doosan Bobcat facility. Fire crews were called to the building along South 22nd Street at around 4:30 p.m. on reports of an equipment fire at the facility. Firefighters arrived on scene, observed smoke coming from the building, and discovered a fire burning in the facility’s air filtration system. They were able to quickly extinguish the fire, which was reportedly caused by a production process that set a robot on fire. No injuries were reported.
