(Williston, ND) — The Williston Fire Department battled a late Wednesday afternoon fire at an apartment complex. Firefighters responded to a reported fire at the Williston Garden Apartments around 4:30 p.m., finding smoke coming from a second-story balcony door when they arrived. The building was evacuated and the fire was put out. One person was evaluated for smoke inhalation but wasn’t taken to the hospital, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
