Food Centers Coming To North Dakota

(Bismarck, ND) — A new initiative hopes to improve food supply to rural North Dakota communities. The state is one of several which will receive food centers from the the U.S. Department of Agriculture. These centers will work with farmers, restaurants, and small grocery stores in the state to remedy supply-chain problems. North Dakota Association of Rural Electric Cooperatives rural development director Lori Capouch says the program will also bring economic benefits to the state, calling it a “big win”.
