(Rugby, ND) — A former corrections officer who worked at the local Jail in Rugby is accused of sexually assaulting two female inmates. Anthony Aadland faces two felony counts of sexual abuse of a ward. Investigators say the alleged assaults happened in parts of the building without surveillance cameras, and that inmates told them that Aadland also showed them inappropriate photos of himself on his cell phone. He’s been fired from the jail due to the accusations against him and his arrest. His preliminary hearing and arraignment are scheduled for May 13th.
