(Fargo, ND) — The owner of a now-closed cigar bar in Fargo faces federal drug trafficking charges. Authorities accuse 51-year-old Barrett Prody of leading a drug trafficking ring that brought cocaine into the Fargo area. Investigators say two confidential informants admitted to buying large amounts of cocaine over the course of about three years, and later helped Prody transport the drugs. Prody faces several charges, including conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute a controlled substance.
