(Bismarck, ND) — Former North Dakota Deputy Attorney General Troy Seibel has died at age 48. Attorney General Drew Wrigley confirmed Seibel’s passing on Tuesday, though a cause of death hasn’t been released. Seibel faced legal issues after he resigned in 2022. He was arrested for DUI that year, and was charged with disorderly conduct after he was accused of harassing children at a Mandan hotel in 2023. He pleaded guilty to DUI, and the disorderly conduct charge was later dropped.
