Former North Dakota Lt. Gov. Lloyd Omdahl Dead At 93

(Grand Forks, ND) — Former North Dakota Lieutenant Governor Lloyd Omdahl has died at age 93. He passed away in Grand Forks on Sunday in the company of his son and daughter. A registered Democrat, Omdahl was appointed lieutenant governor in 1987 and then stayed in office when Governor George Sinner was re-elected the following year. Sinner and Omdahl were the last Democrats to serve in the governor’s office.
