(Bismarck, ND) — Former North Dakota lawmaker Rick Becker is running for the state’s only seat in the U.S. House of Representatives. He’ll be going against incumbent Republican representative Kelly Armstrong in this year’s primary. Becker is a plastic surgeon and businessman who ran unsuccessfully for the U.S. Senate against Senator John Hoeven two years ago. Democrat Trygve Hammer, a military veteran, is also running for North Dakota’s lone house seat.
