(Jamestown, ND) — A former Jamestown priest who was charged with sexual assault has been sentenced. Neil Pfeifer was arrested earlier this year after a woman came forward and said she had been sexually assaulted by him. A judge sentenced him to a year in prison, with credit for one day served and all but nine days suspended, with those also suspended if he completes fifty hours of community service. According to his defense attorney, Pfeifer no longer has a job with the church.
