Former U-Mary Student Sentenced For Feb. Bomb Threat

(Bismarck, ND) — A former University of Mary student will be put on probation and made to do community service after posting a bomb threat back in February. Nineteen-year-old Chase Hoechst was initially charged with felony terrorizing, but pleaded guilty yesterday to a reduced charge of misdemeanor reckless endangerment. In addition to a year-long probation period and 100 hours of community service, Hoechst will have to write an apology letter to the university and the Burleigh County Sheriff’s Department.
