(Fort Yates, ND) — Five people were arrested in a drug bust that happened in Fort Yates on Monday. Officers from multiple agencies conducted a search warrant at a home, and reportedly recovered large amounts of fentanyl, cash, and drug paraphernalia. Police say the suspects who were arrested are two people from Michigan and three members of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe. The two people from Michigan face evidence tampering and drug charges, while there’s no word yet on charges for the three tribal members.
