(Minot, ND) — The Minot Fire Department battled a garage fire in the southeastern part of the city Sunday afternoon. When firefighters arrived at the scene along 8th Avenue Southeast, where they observed smoke and flames pouring out of a two-stall attached garage at a duplex. They quickly put out the flames before they spread to the rest of the structure, and nobody was injured. Fire officials are investigating how the fire started.
