(Fargo, ND) — A Republican governor running for president says he won’t support a federal abortion ban if he’s elected. Speaking on NBC’s Meet the Press, North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum said he believes in leaving such decisions up to each state. Burgum noted that a bill that might pass in his state likely wouldn’t pass in other states like California or New York. He noted that he agreed with the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade last year.
