Gov. Burgum Says Dozen GOP Candidates Isn’t Too Many

(Fargo, ND) — One of the 12 GOP presidential hopefuls says a dozen candidates isn’t too many. Speaking on CNN’s State of the Union, North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum says competition is “great” and voters should have choices. Burgum said he would focus on “the economy, energy and national security” if he’s elected. When asked about a national abortion ban, Burgum responded by saying the federal government sometimes “over-reaches.”
