Gov. Burgum Struggles To Be Heard At Second Presidential Debate

(Simi Valley, CA) — North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum struggled to be heard at the second GOP debate on Wednesday. As other presidential candidates spoke on various topics, Burgum had to press the hosts to be heard at times. It took a half hour into the debate for the governor to weigh in on an issue, as he jumped in to address the ongoing auto worker’s strike, tying it to the Biden administration’s policies. Even after that, Burgum had to be pushy to get airtime. As it stands now, former president Trump is still leading in the polls as the next Republican candidate for the 2024 presidential election.
