Governor Burgum Gives Final State Of The State Address

(Bismarck, ND) — Governor Burgum says even though he’s leaving office at the end of the year, he hopes to do a better job when it comes to sharing North Dakota’s story. In his final State of the State Address, he said it’s clear the rest of the nation does not understand us. The governor also spoke about addressing housing needs, announced a new office to focus on rural prosperity, and declared Veteran and Military Suicide Prevention and Awareness Year. He hopes to raise awareness about the 988 hotline and restated his goal of eliminating individual state income tax.
