Governor Doug Burgum Won’t Make Third GOP Debate

(Bismarck, ND) — Governor Doug Burgum won’t qualify for the third Republican Presidential Primary debate in Miami tomorrow. In a social media post, the governor announced Monday that he didn’t make the list of candidates who qualified for a spot on stage. While Burgum reached the criteria for the donor threshold and two early-voting state polls, he won’t qualify because he fell short of the four-percent polling threshold in one national poll. Despite not qualifying, Burgum says he will continue his presidential campaign.
