(Grand Forks, ND) — A Grand Forks man who possessed thousands of child sexual abuse images has been sentenced to 40 years in prison. Investigators say Nicholas Morgan-Derosier was not only involved in the trade of child sexual abuse material, but also sexually abused several children himself. Two of the alleged victims testified about the abuse during the trial. Morgan-Derosier pleaded guilty to multiple child sexual abuse material-related charges, and was sentenced on Thursday. Officials say he will likely appeal the sentence.
