(Grand Forks, ND) — A Grand Forks man accused of assaulting his wife while she was hospitalized with cancer and chemotherapy complications has pleaded not guilty. Joshua Temple faces three domestic violence charges, and he was arrested for the alleged abuse last month. His wife Whitney Temple later died, and authorities are investigating whether she died from illness or from injuries caused by abuse. Joshua Temple waived a preliminary hearing and arraignment that was scheduled for Sunday, and he has a final dispositional conference scheduled for August 15th.
