(Crookston, MN) — A Grand Forks man accused of selling meth next to an elementary school in Crookston, Minnesota has pleaded not guilty. Police arrested 32-year-old Ruben Silva back in April, and he faces a charge of second-degree sale of a controlled substance in a Polk County prohibited zone. He faces a maximum sentence of 25 years in prison, but sentencing guidelines recommend between 4 and 9 years. He’s next due in court on September 10th.
