(Grand Forks, ND) — A Grand Forks man has been charged with multiple violent crimes, including attempted murder. Police say 27-year-old Alexander Thompson got into a fight with a co-worker at his workplace, and allegedly attempted to strangle him with his hands and an extension cord. Witnesses say Thomson said “I’m going to kill you” during the attack, and the co-worker reportedly lost consciousness. Thompson is scheduled to appear in court at 9:00 a.m. today.
