(Grand Forks, ND) — Grand Forks School Board members have unanimously voted to fire a Head Start teacher accused of roughly handling her students. Nneka Nwaokeafor [[ neh-kah Nwah-key-for ]] was placed on leave last November after she allegedly aggressively grabbed students. The board determined she engaged in “insubordination and conduct unbecoming of her position”. Nwaokeafor reportedly admitted to restraining the children, but said she didn’t think she did anything wrong.
