(Dickinson, ND) — N-DOT has approved a 7-and-a half-million-dollar grant to build an Eastern Bypass around the city of Dickinson. The current route around the city involves a round-about 12-mile detour, which increases travel time and traffic congestion. Officials say the Eastern Bypass will greatly improve traffic flow around Dickinson, and will provide a more direct route.
