Grant Will Help With Handling Coal Ash

(Bismarck, ND) — A grant from the state Department of Environmental Quality will help North Dakota to better manage and recycle coal byproducts. Senators Kevin Cramer and John Hoeven announced the nearly 620-thousand-dollar grant on Friday. The funding will be used to establish a coal combustion residual state program and an online portal for CCR facilities to submit necessary documentation.
