(Griggs County, ND) — A Griggs County man faces multiple charges following an alleged domestic incident and encounter with deputies on Monday. Authorities say Corey Schneider from Hannaford assaulted his wife and then left the home with a rifle. Deputies tracked him to Highway 65 near Binford and pulled him over, though he reportedly refused to lie down or follow commands, and told the deputies to shoot him. Deputies say they had to use pepper spray to get Schneider in handcuffs, and his next court appearance is set for April 23rd.
