H.S. Students Could Earn Paraprofessional Certificate

(Bismarck, ND) — The North Dakota Department of Education is looking to give some students a head start on their career. State School Superintendent Kirsten Baesler announced a program this week that will allow high school students to take classes to earn a general education paraprofessional certificate. Their coursework would include teaching theory, methods and practices. Once they have their certificate they can work in the classroom as an aide to a teacher.
