Health Officials: New State Program Offers Funding To Home-Based ND Caregivers

(Bismarck, ND) — A new state program will provide funding to help North Dakota residents caring for a disabled child or adult at home. This according to state health officials, who say the pilot program – which was recently approved by legislators – offers five-day-per-week stipends to those who qualify. Enrollees caring for children reportedly will receive $77.45 per day. Those who care for adults will receive twice that amount.
