(Bismarck, ND) — The state’s fire marshal says it was tree limbs falling onto power lines that sparked a deadly October wildfire. The report released yesterday says high winds snapped the tree limbs that ended up causing the wildfire near Ray on October 5th and 6th. Two men died in the fire — Edgar Coppersmith of Tioga and Johannes Van Eeden of South Africa.
