Highway Patrol To Conduct Sobriety Checkpoint In Grand Forks

(Grand Forks, ND) — The North Dakota Highway Patrol will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint in the Grand Forks area this weekend. According to the Highway Patrol, the main goal of the checkpoint is to remove impaired drivers from the road. Sergeant Christopher A. Schaefer is advising the public to use ride share services or have a designated driver. A total of six fatal alcohol-related car crashes have been confirmed in North Dakota so far this year.
