Hillsboro Subway Kidnapping Case Dismissed

(Hillsboro, ND) — The case of a man accused of holding a woman at gunpoint at a Hillsboro Subway last summer is now dismissed. Sixty-two-year-old Mark Weibye was charged with kidnapping, felonious restraint, and menacing. Despite the evidence against Weibye, including the gun that was found at the scene, charges are no longer listed against him. Weibye had already been under a doctor’s care and was taken for further mental health evaluations after the incident back in July last year.
