(Minot, ND) — A house fire in Minot has been taken care of. The Minot Fire Department responded to a call Saturday night after receiving reports of smoke filling the basement of a home. Three engine companies responded to the fire, which was caused by hot embers that escaped the home’s fireplace. There were no injuries.
