Ian Cramer Now Facing Homicide Charge

(Bismarck, ND) — Ian Cramer, son of North Dakota Senator Kevin Cramer, now faces a homicide charge in connection with the death of Deputy Paul Martin. Martin died when Cramer crashed into his police vehicle during a high-speed car chase. Cramer was initially charged with manslaughter, but a judge recently upgraded the charge to homicide while fleeing a peace officer. He’s also charged with fleeing a police officer, preventing arrest, reckless endangerment, and a number of drug charges. His next court appearance is set for Monday.
