(Jamestown, ND) — Jamestown Police are releasing the name of the gunman who was killed in an officer-involved shooting early Tuesday. They say 27-year-old Devin Fontenot of Jamestown was fatally shot by police after he ignored the officer’s command to drop his firearm. Police say the man had been firing a rifle in the parking lot after he had been kicked out of a bar for fighting. The officer has been placed on administrative leave while the state BCI investigates.
