(Grand Forks, ND) — A Grand Forks man could spend the next 20 years behind bars after a jury found him guilty of kidnapping and other felony charges. Angel Alberto Torres-Sosa was convicted of charges related to taking a woman to his residence where he attacked her and attempted to sexually assault her. The jury deliberated for three-and-a-half-hours on Friday before reaching a verdict. In addition to kidnapping, Torres-Sosa was convicted of aggravated assault and attempted gross sexual imposition. Sentencing is set for March 31st after a pre-sentence investigation is completed.
