(Bismarck, ND) — Republican Representative Kelly Armstrong has announced Michelle Strinden as his running mate in his bid for governor. The Fargo area lawmaker has served in the Legislature since 2019, was born in Grand Forks, and was raised in Bismarck. In the past, she worked for the West Fargo Public Schools as a school counselor. Armstrong calls Strinden “a dynamic leader, community advocate, and a dedicated public servant committed to making a positive impact for all North Dakotans”. She was announced as Armstrong’s running mate after the state GOP unanimously endorsed him for governor on Saturday.
