(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakota congressman Kelly Armstrong has responded to Governor Burgum’s recent endorsement of Lieutenant Governor Tammy Miller for her run for governor. He says he doesn’t consider it a slap in the face, even though he and Governor Burgum are good friends. In fact, he said he would have been surprised if Burgum hadn’t endorsed his hand-picked Lieutenant Governor. Armstrong said he doesn’t have an issue with Miller not going to the state convention to get the party’s endorsement. However, he said he does question why she hasn’t gone out to speak to the grassroots voters.
